Raw Food Raid

Federal Tax Dollars Hard at Work

The picture above represents a simple and compelling reason for not supporting S.510 FDA Food Safety Modernization Act:  If they are already capable of raiding organic milk distributors with the powers they already have, what do you think will happen if we give them more?  Shall they be nice and gentle with them, using them skillfully in the service of humanity?

I think not.

That raid was a direct and violent attack on the little guy and it should not be taken lightly.

The Hypocrisy of the Feds

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not deserve more power to regulate food.  They are too selective in enforcement.  Was there a guns drawn raid on the Iowa egg producers sent out salmonella tainted eggs by the hundreds of millions?  I didn’t think so.

But food is life.  Even those federal thugs should know that.  Do you really think that your food supply is safe in the hands of the federal government?  The ability, right and freedom to grow one’s own food is so very important.  It has to do with self-sufficiency.  As Americans, self-sufficiency is our right.  It simply is not a right government can take away, unless of course, we sit back and let it happen.  But think about it:  Do we truly want to give away such power to the FDA?  Think long and hard on the government’s track record on everything from education, to fiscal responsibility, to undeclared wars, torture, and the destruction of the Constition, which is the Law of the Land.  They don’t seem to know how to get anything right.  So why should we trust them with our food supply?

The S.510 FDA Food Safety Modernization Act must be stopped.

A White House created commission is considering raising the retirement age and cutting Social Security payments to people who are currently receiving benefits, according to a recent article posted in the Wall Street Journal August 20, 2010.  In addition to this they are also considering raising taxes to keep Social Security solvent, a realization that should be most unsettling to anybody who is in any way dependent on that system to pay for their utility bills, food and rent.

However, the White House does not seem too interested in perhaps funding the deficit in Social Security by cutting the gargantuan Department of Defense budget which is engaged in unconstitutional wars of empire abroad and crimes against humanity. The White House is also not interested in cutting off the bailouts of trillions of dollars to the same banking institutions that helped to create the current world economic recession we are all-too-familiar with.

No, the White House would rather utilize American taxpayer money to create a panel which will consider the most effective way to cut Social Security benefits to the very people who have paid into the system their entire lives. It will create a panel to figure out better ways to tax us and impoverish us further.  What’s next?  What other benefits will they be cutting?  What other social programs?  Welfare?  Food stamps?  Will they be coming for our pensions?  When will they start cutting their own budget and stop cutting into the American citizens’?  Just some questions to ponder as America’s social safety net evaporates before our very eyes.  Self-suffciency will rule.

We cannot rely on the government to look after our interests and the interests of our children.  We are going to have to take care of ourselves.  It may not be an easy road, but self-sufficiency is attainable!

PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!!!! www.infowars.com President Obama will be handed the power to shut down the Internet for at least four months without Congressional oversight if the Senate votes for the infamous Internet ‘kill switch’ bill, which was approved by a key Senate committee yesterday and now moves to the floor. The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, which is being pushed hard by Senator Joe Lieberman, would hand absolute power to the federal government to close down networks, and block incoming Internet traffic from certain countries under a declared national emergency. Despite the Center for Democracy and Technology and 23 other privacy and technology organizations sending letters to Lieberman and other backers of the bill expressing concerns that the legislation could be used to stifle free speech, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee passed in the bill in advance of a vote on the Senate floor. In response to widespread criticism of the bill, language was added that would force the government to seek congressional approval to extend emergency measures beyond 120 days. Still, this would hand Obama the authority to shut down the Internet on a whim without Congressional oversight or approval for a period of no less than four months. The Senators pushing the bill rejected the claim that the bill was a ‘kill switch’ for the Internet, not by denying that Obama would be given the authority to shut down the Internet as part of this

History Of Positano Ii – Italy

by Sagev on August 21, 2010

When You rent an apartment in Positano,  during Your stay in Positano, You’ll realize how beautiful and magic this town is.

The Positano area still has traces of the Stone Age. Legend has it that Positano was founded by Poseidon, the sea god Neptune, for the sake of Pasitea nymph  loved by him. It is certain that Phoenicians and Greeks, traveling westward, they set foot in this country then perhaps inhabited by Oscans Piceni. The  Romans built a  rich patrician villa near the beach, now buried by gardens and the Church of the Assumption. With the fall of the Roman Empire, Positano  became a part of the Republic of Amalfi, the first maritime republic, and went through a period of flourishing trade by sea with other Mediterranean
countries.

With the Norman conquest in the second half of the eleventh century began a period of decline. Unfortunately still followed sad times, especially with the  Angevin and Aragonese domination which saw the country repeatedly exposed to injuries of the Saracen pirates first and then those of the Turks. To defend  themselves from constant pirate raids, the Positano’s defense erected three watchtowers that still make a fine show at Fornillo, at Trasita, at Sponda and  in others areas of the  town.

In 1492 Positano was a feud of John Miroballo and, subsequently, of the Mastrogiudice and Cossa: at this time they ravaged the territory, while famine,  pestilence and frequent tidal waves, caused a drastic decline in population. In the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries the solid and fast ships of Positano  traffic in the Middle East, bringing spices, silks and precious woods. During this time there were built the typical baroque houses, which still can be seen  perched on the mountain, with their balconies overlooking the sea.

President Obama to Get Internet Kill Switch?

by Sagev on August 21, 2010

There is a new bill proposed by Senator Joe Lieberman that has been causing quite the stir. The bill would give President Barack Obama and the White House authority to shut down the entire internet if there was a “cybersecurity emergency.” The bill is called Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act and Lieberman defended it saying “Our economic security, national security and public safety are now all at risk from new kinds of enemies–cyber-warriors, cyber-spies, cyber-terrorists and cyber-criminals.” Many people are speaking out against the bill though saying it could potentially violate our freedom of speech.
